A beautiful proposal in Asakusa, Tokyo

We were asked to create a flower arrangement for a special proposal in Asakusa — how romantic! Her American boyfriend wanted everything to be just right, with only one request: no pink flowers. With the rest left up to us, we added a warm touch using wooden ornaments from our shop to make it extra special.

In the morning, while a few people were still on their way to work, we quietly began setting up the decorations behind Senso-ji Temple. When we explained the reason to one of the temple guards, he kindly said, ‘It’s okay if it’s just for a little while.’ We were touched by his warmth so early in the day, and waited with excitement for the special moment to come.

Her answer was ‘YES.’ With such a beautiful surprise, how could it have been anything else?

Later, she told us with a smile, ‘He was checking the time all morning — it was so unusual that I started to think, maybe today’s the day?’ Seems she had a little hunch! 😊

A perfect match, the two of them! We wish them endless happiness in the days to come. Their joy gave us so much positive energy this morning — it truly made our day.

If you’re thinking about planning a surprise proposal, we’d love to help. Feel free to reach out to NOT FLOWER!
